SDEWES Conference Dubrovnik

The 18th Conference for Sustainable Development of Energy, Water and Environment Systems (SDEWES) will be held in Dubrovnik, Croatia, and is dedicated to the advancement and dissemination of knowledge on methods, policies and technologies for enabling sustainable development.

One of the main issues of the coming decades is to improve efficiencies by integrating various life-supporting systems, using excess from one as resource in another. Integrating electricity, heating, cooling, transport, water, buildings, waste, wastewater, industry, forestry and agriculture systems will be pivotal towards sustainable development.

The SDEWES Conference has become a significant venue for researchers in these areas to meet, and originate, discuss, share, and disseminate new ideas.

CoolLIFE’s partners from Eurac Research will attend to present their paper reviewing existing tools in assessing energy demand for space heating and cooling in Europe’s building stock (Authors: Dario Bottino-Leone, Simon Pezzutto, Eric Wilczynski, Riccardo Fraboni).
